Job Description

The ideal candidates will possess

• PSW Certificate
• Must possess good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to

• Assisting or providing total personal care such as toileting, bathing, and perineal respects and uses sensitivity in spiritual, cultural and ethnic aspects of resident care
• *

Assisting with ambulation, positioning, and transferring using mechanical lifts such as a Hoyer lift

• Assists with the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of individualized care to meet the resident’s holistic needs and promotes and respects the Resident Bill of Rights
• Computer or paper documentation of Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and other findings.
• Self-actualization by helping patient/resident/client to reach maximum potential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hamilton, ON L9B 2W3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
