Our Marketing team in New Minas is looking for a Marketing Assistant - Summer Student to join their team! This is a great opportunity for a student who is enrolled in post-secondary education with a great desire to learn about the Marketing world for an Automotive Group! This position is an 8-week contract and is pending Canada Summer Jobs funding.

About the Job:

As a valued member of the Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to learn about the marketing technology and strategies that are applied for a large automotive group, you will assist the department by writing, editing and updating content for everything from brochures and, marketing and promotion materials to emails, websites blogs and more. Ensuring the best SEO practices are followed for the digital content so search engines like Google can find the content. Creating social media posts and managing social accounts, including providing excellent customer service by responding to user questions and comments. You will also monitor the website and social media metrics and other duties required to assist the marketing team!

What we are looking for:

You meet the criteria for the Canada Summer Job Funding. You should be confident with your technical skills on a computer, comfortable multi-tasking and navigating different software systems. Having a passion for social media, and marketing and being a part of a team will make you a rockstar in this role!
