Job Overview
Summer Student – Labourer, Welding Shop

Location: Fort McMurray, AB

Reporting to: Foreman, Welding Shop

Shift: 5x2; Monday to Friday; 6:00am- 2:30pm
Key Job Responsibilities

Assist Warehouse Shipper/ Receivers, Journeyman Welders, Mechanics and Machinists. Follow directions from peers and supervisors.

Track and manage inventory on consumables and usage.

Arrange and organize materials for jobs

Learn equipment operation and help/ unload plasma table operation

Duties may include moving machinery, tools and products to correct locations using various equipment

Filing for incoming & outgoing paperwork

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Able to lift up to 50lbs

Ability to multitask

Customer service skills

Valid Driver’s license and own transportation required

Must have a strong safety focus
